History of Landscape DesignThe history of landscape design is connected with the history of gardening. Both arts are connected with the composition of planting, landform, water, paving and additional structures however:

  • Garden design is fundamentally associated with enclosed confidential space such as parks, gardens and so on.
  • Landscape design concerns the design of enclosed space, in addition to unenclosed space which is open to the community town squares, country parks, greenways and so forth.
